Everywhere we go life is fast, full of stimulus and people, media and devices trying to desperately grab our attention. The arctic is rare place, not least, because it is a place where nature overwhelms man’s impact. A place where you can quieten the mind, long days of arctic light and a stillness that makes you feel you are on another world. It is an experience that you just can’t replicate anywhere else. In these panoramic images I have tried to capture the essence of the place, an almost impossible task… but I tried.

Film Expression
There is something very special about the aesthetic of camera film. My mission is to go further than most in creating images that are unique. By shooting on film it pushes my artistic craft to an extreme - driven by a desire for pure analogue authenticity. The colours, effects and compositions are created in camera, in the field and in front of the wildlife. The ultimate challenge for any artist.
